«Want to laugh about illness? Feel how much life still exists? This way…» Caroline, 37, was a soldier and then a burnt-out marketing professional. To remind her that there were worse things in life, she was diagnosed with cancer. Could that be a downer? Quite the opposite! She decided to laugh about it and use it to find meaning in her life. Especially since she reminds us that potentially everyone is affected. So you'll leave with tips and tricks, just in case. From telling your family, «Why are you doing this to me?», to friends, «Oh no, not you, you were so nice,» to speed dating when you're bald, to dealing with those annoying, depressed hospital roommates… Everyone gets their turn.

Fortunately, there are also advantages: organizing your own funeral or being a VIP in the emergency room: "You're that famous, more urgent case than the others..." and maybe even pulling through. When Caroline received the terrible news of her cancer, she thought back to Jean-Marie Bigard's sketch. It's the story of a bat who disguises herself and manages to pass herself off as one of his friends. Throughout the sketch, we keep thinking, "Let's say, let's say she succeeds..." Caroline has always said that to herself for others, so why not for herself? She tells us about her battle with the authenticity and nonchalance that characterize her. This "bald woman who smiles" at her illness, that's really her, and any resemblance to real people, living or dead, is not necessarily coincidental.
