The Merqury Band was officially born at the "Propaganda" Theatre in Milan on November 15, 2001, during a spectacular concert held to commemorate the death of Freddie Mercury.
Since that date, Ferdinando Altavilla, Marco Ferranti, Lorenzo Milone and Nicolo Ferdinand Gullotto have continued to present hundreds of concerts with enormous success throughout Italy and surrounding countries.
Thanks to a perfect vocal and instrumental fusion, the artists manage to reproduce, with surprising fidelity, the magic that accompanies Freddie Mercury's fantastic voice, as well as the theatrical, scenic and musical atmosphere that has always surrounded Queen's music.

Ferdinando Altavilla, lead singer of the group, has been voted the best Freddie Mercury impersonator in Italy three times. He receives unanimous praise from the press for the accuracy of his voice, gestures, and costumes.

Marco Ferranti, born in 1973, is the drummer and backing vocalist for the Merqury Band. He admires Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen, whose style he finds unique. His musical roots lie in the hard rock and blues of the 70s and 80s.

Nicolo Ferdinand Gullotto, bassist and backing vocalist. After several collaborations with MerQuryband for acoustic concerts, he became the band's official bassist in 2013. His musical influence is Jaco Pastorius, and he plays exclusively a Fender bass. For MerQuryband, he represents a key element in Queen's sound, contributing high fidelity and a powerful impact.

Lorenzo Milone He plays guitar and sings backing vocals, and he also has a great impact and stage presence because he possesses great technique.

Yngwie Malmsteenn is his idol. He joined MerQuryband in 2011 and gave the group a new sound. He's been a Queen fan for a long time. He plays a Gold Special to be different, but he collects Fender Stratocasters. When he touches a guitar, it starts to sing!
